The Princeton women's soccer team's scheduled game at Villanova for Wednesday afternoon has been postponed due to the bad weather.
The game will probably be rescheduled, though no date was immediately announced. Possible dates could be Nov. 5 or 6, though Villanova's Big East schedule will determine whether those dates are possible.
Princeton, ranked 17th nationally and third in the Mid-Atlantic Region, is the only undefeated, untied team in Division I at 11-0-0. Villanova (10-1-3) is ranked 21st nationally and fourth in the region.
Esmeralda Negron, Princeton's leading scorer, added to her earlier Ivy League Player of the Week honor by being named the ECAC Division I Player of the Week and to the SoccerBuzz Elite Team of the Week.
Negron scored the only goal in Princeton's 1-0 win over Rutgers last Tuesday and followed that with a goal 7:53 into overtime to defeat Penn Saturday night. Negron leads Princeton and is second in the Ivy League with seven goals, four of which have been game-winners. She also has two overtime goals.
Princeton, 4-0-0 in the Ivy League, hosts Brown Saturday (4 p.m.) and Harvard the following Saturday (7:30).
