Five Tigers Invited to USA Hockey Women's National Festival

Princeton, N.J. - Four current members of the Princeton women's ice hockey team and one recent graduate were among the 64 players selected to the 2003 USA Hockey Women's National Festival, held August 12-18 in Lake Placid, N.Y.
Participants in the Festival are divided into three teams (Teams Blue, Red and White) that will take part in daily practices and compete in a round-robin tournament at the Olympic Center. Princeton senior goaltender Meghan Van Beusekom and senior defenseman Angela Gooldy were named to the White Team or Andrea Kilbourne, who graduated in June, will also join them.
Senior forward Gretchen Anderson and sophomore goaltender Roxanne Gaudiel will compete on the Blue Team, which will also serve as the 2003 U.S. Women's Under-22 Select Team. The team will play a three-game exhibition series against Canada, August 20-23 in Pierrefonds Que., a suburb of Montreal. Princeton head coach Jeff Kampersal will serve as an assistant coach for the squad.
