Donahue Scores Four Goals As Water Polo Finishes Third At ECACs

Providence, R.I. - Megan Donahue scored four goals, including two in the first quarter, to lead the Princeton women's water polo team past George Washington 14-3 for a third-place finish at the ECAC Championships at Brown.
The Tigers led 2-0 after the first period and 5-1 at the half behind Donahue's three first-half goals. Princeton then exploded for six goals by six different players in the third quarter for an 11-3 lead heading into the fourth.
Karina Reyner finished with three goals while Elyse Colgan and Danielle Carlson each added two. Colgan won two sprints while Madeline McCarthy and Shannon DeVore combined for three saves in goal. Princeton went 2 for 5 on its 6 on 5's.
The Tigers finished third behind Hartwick and Brown. The Hawks beat the Bears 7-6 in overtime of the ECAC Championship game.
