Princeton and Rutgers first played lacrosse in 1888. They have met every year since 1926 except for the World War II years of 1944 and 1945. Their rivalry renews for the 81st time this Saturday, when the Scarlet Knights visit Class of 1952 Stadium in a game that can be seen on CSTV.
The Princeton-Rutgers game can also be heard locally on ESPN radio AM 920, not on Moneytalk AM 1350, as usual. The Princeton-Brown game next month will also be on 920 AM as well.

History lesson - Princeton has defeated Rutgers each of the last 14 years; prior to that, Rutgers defeated Princeton nine of the previous 10 years.
More history - Princeton and Rutgers have played every year since 1926 except for the World War II years of 1944 and 1945.
Last history - Princeton and Rutgers first played lacrosse on April 25, 1888, in New Brunswick and May 2, 1888, in Princeton. Both games were won by Princeton. In case you forgot - Princeton trailed Rutgers 3-0 after eight minutes, led Rutgers 7-4 late in the third quarter, trailed Rutgers 8-7 midway through the fourth quarter and then won the game 10-8 on three goals in 51 seconds in last year's game at Yurcak Field.
More forgot - Sean Hartofilis scored six goals against Rutgers last year. Jason Doneger scored three, and Ryan Boyle had one goal and four assists.
Hots for Tots - The winner of the Princeton-Rutgers is awarded the Harland (Tots) Meistrell Cup, whose namesake is credited with reviving the sport at both schools (Rutgers in 1919, Princeton in 1920).
Fresh faces - Princeton started four freshmen last week against Yale (attackman Peter Trombino and midfielders Scott Sowanick, Michael Biles and Whitney Hayes).
Young guns - Princeton's freshmen have combined to score 21 goals in six games; Princeton's freshmen last year combined for one goal, and Princeton's freshmen the year before combined for no goals.
Boyle-ing point - After having four goals and eight assists in the first four games of the season, Ryan Boyle has four goals and eight assists in the last two games (3-3 against Syracuse, 1-5 against Yale).
More Boyle - Ryan Boyle ranks seventh in Division I in assists with 18; he led Division I a year ago.
Still more Boyle - Ryan Boyle ranks second all-time in assists at Princeton with 134. He needs 40 to tie Kevin Lowe '94 for fist.
