Men's Fencing Splits Dual Meet At UNC

Chapel Hill, N.C. - Junior Ben Solomon went a perfect 5-0 in the men's epee, as the men's fencing team spilt a dual meet against North Carolina (19-9) and Penn State (13-14).
Freshman Douglas Hohensee tallied the top foil record at 5-1. Hohensee defeated North Carolina 3-0 and dropped one bout to Penn State, 2-1.
In the sabre, sophomore Joe Cho finished 2-0 against North Carolina, while both Owen Corwall and John Winnerman were 1-2 vs. Penn State.
The Tigers next host Columbia, Rutgers and St. John's at 10 a.m. on Jan. 29.
