PRINCETON, N.J.? - The Princeton Women's Basketball team spent the afternoon with several fourth and fifth graders at Riverside Elementary School on Tuesday. The event started in the school gymnasium with introductions from the players and coaching staff, followed by a demonstration of drills by the team, a fun interactive shooting game that allowed the kids to play alongside the Princeton players, and then a question and answer session to wrap up the first hour of the day.
The players then took part in “Lunch Bunch” in the school library. A couple players sat at each table?spread out within the library?and the Riverside elementary students joined them for lunch. The Princeton players reminisced about their elementary school years and gave the kids advice on how to succeed in the classroom and in athletics.? It was a great afternoon for all! The day ended with a photo and autograph session.
