April 08, 2009 | Field Hockey
Former Princeton field hockey standout Maren Ford, senior Sarah Reinprecht and incoming freshman Julia Reinprecht were
recently named to the 2009-10 U.S. Women's Indoor National Field Hockey
Team Roster.
Ford, a 2006 Princeton graduate and currently an assistant coach at
Bucknell, was a member of the 2008 USA Women's Indoor Team that earned
a silver medal at the 2008 Indoor Pan Am Cup in San Juan, Argentina.
Sarah Reinprecht finished up her collegiate career at Princeton in the fall as a four-time All-Ivy player and a three-time first-team selection. She hjas played on several U.S. National Teams, most recently as a three-year member of the National U-21 team.
Julia Reinprecht will follow in the footsteps of her two sisters, senior Sarah and freshman Katie, at Princeton next fall. The
Mt. St. Joseph's Academy senior also has extensive National Team
experience, including as a member of the Junior Pan-Am Cup team that
won Gold last fall in Mexico City. Current Tigers Kaitlyn Perrelle,
Katie Reinprecht and Kathleen Sharkey were also on that team.
The team will represent the United States at the 2010 Indoor Pan Am Cup
in March 2010 with the hopes of qualifying for the 2011 Indoor World
Cup in Poznan, Poland.
