Five Tigers Head to Columbia for Men's Tennis Invite
October 07, 2010 | Men's Tennis
Matija Pecotic will be one of five Princeton men's tennis players headed to New York this weekend for the Columbia Invitational. The tournament will get underway Friday and wrap Sunday.
Draws have not yet been released.
The sophomore Pecotic is the defending champion of the tournament's "A" singles flight, while Matt Siow, who is not among the Princeton group in the tournament this year, won the "B" singles flight last fall.
Senior Ryan Kim, juniors Ravi Yegya-Raman and Coleman Crutchfield and sophomore Michael Lin will also be headed to the Columbia tournament. It will be Princeton's third event of the season after the Farnsworth/Princeton Invitational and the USTA Invitational in Queens, both last month. The Tigers will close out the fall next weekend at the ITA Regional in New Haven, Conn.
