Goetz developed into Princeton closer over the course of the season and pitched to a 1.33 ERA in 27.0 innings of work. The rookie was 3-1 and added three saves with 25 strikeouts. An honorable mention All-Ivy, Goetz got the win in Princeton's Ivy clinching win over Dartmouth.
York hit .317 in his rookie campaign playing in both the infield and the outfield. The freshman played in 32 games and collected 32 hits in 101 at-bats. York drove in 10 runs during the season and delivered a key two-run single in Princeton's Ivy clinching win to give the Tigers a needed cushion in the middle innings.
The Tigers will learn of their regional destination on Memorial Day when the bracket for the NCAA Championships will be announced. Princeton will likely add some games to its schedule in the coming weeks once final exams are completed this coming weekend.
