You Can Help Princeton Rowing "Pull For A Cure"
September 29, 2011 | Heavyweight Rowing, Women's Rowing - Open, Women's Rowing - Lightweight, Men's Rowing - Lightweight
For the second consecutive year, the Princeton rowing programs will compete at the Head of the Charles against an opponent far greater than anybody else on the water. Princeton is part of a breast cancer awareness campaign called Pull for a Cure, and you can support the effort.
Princeton joined several other boathouses in the effort last year and raised nearly $15,000. This year, the stakes have been raised; each of the universities involved are competing against each other for the greatest result possible, a victory over breast cancer.
As October is breast cancer awareness month, you have an opportunity to assist the Princeton crew programs in this endeavor. Click here to see how you can donate prior to the annual competition on the Charles River, which will take place the weekend of Oct. 22-23. You can also donate prior to the Princeton Chase, which will be held the following weekend at Lake Carnegie.
