Tough Guys Have Tough Time at Senators Camp

Tough guys have a difficult time showing off all their skills at a summer development camp.
As Senators assistant GM Tim Murray says, "it's hard to fight when you're busy stick handling around sticks."
But there can be opportunity, and Darren Kramer and Michael Sdao almost located it during a drill earlier this week. After Sdao bounced a couple of guys in the corner, Kramer caught up to him in front of the net and cross-checked him to the ice. The two exchanged deathly stares, but didn't come to blows. Still, bets were on that if anybody was going to "go" during Thursday night's scrimmage, it was that pair.
Now, you won't see Kramer or Sdao in an Ottawa Senators jersey anytime soon, but with Matt Carkner and Zenon Konopka likely to fly the coup this weekend via free agency, there's a good chance they could become the team's enforcers of the future.
