Slifer Earns Second Ivy Honor of the Season

PRINCETON, N.J. (3/23/15) - Princeton senior midfielder Erin Slifer has been named the Ivy League Offensive Player of the Week this afternoon.
Slifer led the Tigers in scoring in a 2-0 week as Princeton knocked off No. 11 Penn State and defeated Harvard in an Ivy League matchup. Slifer had eight goals and two assists on the week, while collecting three ground balls, two draws and caused one turnover. Against Penn State she led all players in scoring with four goals, while tacking on a ground ball, draw and caused turnover. On Saturday versus Harvard she scored four goals and had two assists, while picking up two ground balls, and won one draw.
Slifer receives her fourth career Ivy League Offensive Player of the Week honor and second of the season (Feb. 23).
