Two-Time Defending Ivy Champ Softball Team, Eight Tigers Earn NFCA All-Academic Status

The back-to-back Ivy League champion Princeton softball team has been included on the list of the National Fastpitch Coaches Association's All-Academic honorees.
The list includes 149 Division I programs, including 143 that achieved at least a 3.00 team GPA for the 2016-17 school year.Â
Princeton had a CoSIDAÂ Academic All-District honoree last season in mechanical and aerospace engineering major Marissa Reynolds '17, who finished the season ranked fourth in the nation in doubles per game (0.40), seventh in on-base percentage (.556), ninth in slugging percentage (.845) and 11th in batting average (.436).
Alex Colón, Haley Hineman, Claire Klausner, Ashley LaGuardia, Kylee Pierce, Reynolds, Caroline Taber and Kaitlyn Waslawski were all named individual NFCAÂ Scholar-Athletes.
