Fall Schedule
The annual Princeton Invitational, visits within the Northeast to Penn State and Yale, and the program's first tournament in Hawaii since 2010 are on the fall slate for the Princeton women's golf team.
The Tigers will start the season with Penn State's Nittany Lion Invitational Sept. 23-24 in Princeton's first participation in that tournament since 2014. The following weekend, Sept. 30-Oct. 1, the Princeton Invitational returns to Springdale Golf Club. As the program did a year ago, Princeton will head to Yale the weekend after the Princeton Invitational for the Yale Women's Intercollegiate.
Princeton will have three weekends off from competition before heading to Hawaii over fall break for the Rainbow Wahine Invitational, held at the Leilehua Golf Course at Oahu's center. Princeton last competed in Hawaii at the Turtle Bay Resort Collegiate Invitational, also on Oahu, in 2010.
The Tigers are coming off their first Ivy League title since 2005, clearing Harvard by 31 strokes in setting a program record for a three-round score with an 891 at the Ivy League Championship in Orlando. Princeton then went on to the NCAA East Regional at Georgia where rising sophomore Maya Walton became the third Tiger to qualify for the NCAA Championship, tying for fifth at the regional. While graduating Hana Ku, Princeton returns three of its four All-Ivy League honorees from 2017, including Walton, rising junior and reigning Ivy League medalist Amber Wang and rising sophomore Alison Chang.
