Princeton and Offstein Take Second at Fordham Fiasco

BRONX, N.Y. (9/9/17) - Junior Madison Offstein guided the Princeton women's cross country team to a second-place finish at the Fordham Fiasco on Saturday in Van Cortlandt Park.

The middle distance crew represented the Tigers as the team begins its process towards championship season in seven weeks.

Offstein was the second overall runner at 18:41.35, while both freshman Sierra Castaneda and junior Mim Buscher also finished in the top 10 at 19:19.52 and 19:24.41. Junior Marie-Fee Breyer also posted a sub-20 5k at 19:41.13 for 16th. The fifth scorer was junior Anna Jurew at 20:12.94. Senior Melana Hammel and junior Morgan Lucey were both in the top 35.

Princeton will compete in the annual H-Y-P Meet next Friday, Sept. 15 in New Haven. Conn.
