McQuigge Earns ECAC Hockey Goalie of the Week

Sophomore Rachel McQuigge has been named the ECAC Hockey Goalie of the Week it was announced by the league office on Monday, Nov. 19.
McQuigge went 1-0-1 this weekend against Colgate and No. 6 Cornell. On Friday she earned her first career shutout making 33 saves against last year's national runner up. On Saturday she stopped 31 shots in a draw with No. 6 Cornell including five in overtime on the penalty kill.
McQuigge had the best goals against average in the league at 0.96 allowing just two goals all weekend while making 64 saves for a .970 save percentage.
Princeton is in first place in the league standings with a 4-0-2 record. Overall the Tigers are 5-2-3 and after taking a week off for the holiday will be back in action on Nov. 30 and Dec. 1 in their home-and-home series with Quinnipiac.
