Bullock and Verbeek Tabbed Player and Rookie of the Week

Sophomore Carly Bullock was named the ECAC Player of the Week and freshman Sarah Verbeek claimed Rookie of the Week honors, it was announced by ECAC Hockey this afternoon.
Bullock led the league in scoring with a five-point week as Princeton swept on the road to earn the No. 6 seed in the ECAC playoffs. She had the best on-ice in the league at +5. On Friday at Yale she scored twice, including the game-winning goal, when she was left wide open on the right side boards during a quick transition opportunity in which she capitalized. She set up the Tigers' first goal and then scored again in the third. On Saturday at Brown she net her 23rd goal of the season when she got open in the high slot after a teammate forced a turnover. Bullock is the reigning ECAC Rookie of the Year.
Verbeek had a three-point week and finished with a +3. On Friday at Yale she set up the Tigers first goal then set up the Tigers' first two goals at Brown in a 5-2 win. This is her second Rookie of the Week honor.
Princeton faces Cornell in the ECAC quarterfinal series this weekend at Lynah Rink. The winner of the best-of-three series will advance to ECAC Championship weekend.
