Alarie Picked For NCAA.com Starting Five

PRINCETON, N.J. – Bella Alarie was named to the NCAA.com weekly Starting Five, the company announced today.

The two-time Ivy Player of the Year's week is only getting better. On Friday, Princeton clinched a share of the Ivy title with an 81-39 takedown of Brown. In that contest, Alarie put up 18 points, six caroms and four blocks. After the game, the team found out they won the outright crown as Yale beat Penn. She finished with a wonderful performance on her senior night, securing 19 points and 13 boards as the No. 21 Tigers disposed Yale with a 64-49 decision.

Monday, she was picked as the Ivy Player of the Week for the second straight week and found out her squad was up to No. 21 in the AP Poll. Tuesday, the Tigers jumped to No. 17 in the Coaches' Poll.

Princeton is now 24-1 overall and sitting with a 20-game winning streak which is tied for the second longest streak in the NCAA. The Tigers wrap up the regular season at Columbia and Cornell this weekend.
