Vystavel ’16 Qualifies For 2021 Tokyo Olympics

The Princeton Boathouse will have another addition to the 2021 Tokyo Olympic Games as Fred Vystavel '16 qualified with Denmark's 2- boat at the Olympic Qualification Regatta in Lucerne, Switzerland today.
Vystavel and Joachim Sutton won their heat at 6:39.46 to get to semifinal where they placed second to Great Britain (6:52.40).
In the final, the pair just missed winning the final, falling to Netherlands by seven-tenths of a second (6:38.67).
Vystavel is the first Princeton Heavyweight to qualify for the Olympics. Gevvie Stone '07 of the women's open rowing team qualified for her third Olympic Games in April.
