Ibrahim, Harrity '13 Compete in PSA World Championship

Todd Harrity '13 and rising senior Youssef Ibrahim finished their run in the Professional Squash Association World Championships, which began July 14 in Chicago.

Ibrahim advanced the further of the two Tigers, making the round of 16 with a pair of wins. Ibrahim opened with a 3-1 win over England's 16th-seeded James Willstrop, 13-11, 8-11, 11-9, 12-10, and 3-0 over fellow unseeded Shahjahan Khan of the U.S., 11-8, 11-5, 13-11. Ibrahim then fell 3-0 to third-seeded and fellow Egyptian Tarek Momen, 11-2, 11-9, 11-8.

Harrity fell 3-1 in his first-round match against Switzerland's Dimitri Steinmann, 11-8, 7-11, 11-7, 11-6.

Harrity was the 2011 Collegiate Squash Association national champion while at Princeton, a four-time All-America honoree, a four-time All-Ivy honoree and earned the 2010 Ivy League Rookie of the Year Award and the Ivy League Player of the Year award in 2011 and 2013. Ibrahim is a two-time All-Ivy honoree heading into his final season at Princeton.
