The Peter J. Cutino Award, named in honor of the late Hall of Fame coach, recognizes the best player in men's and women's college water polo. This watch list was created in 2022 in an effort to help promote the college game, awareness of the honor, and the excellent play of athletes around the country.
Roko Pozaric became the program's all time leading goal scorer with his 255th career goal against then-ranked No. 7/9 Pepperdine. He currently paces the Tigers with 50 goals and has added 28 assists to the stat sheet. This is the third-straight season that the senior utility has been named to the watch list.
Kristóf Kovács has made 419 career saves, tied for ninth in program history. In his second season with Princeton, the keeper has tallied 216 saves, 25 steals and 15 assists. Kovács has been named the conference Defensive Player of the Week four times in 2024 and eight times in his career.
Princeton is 15-7 on the year and 4-1 in Northeast Water Polo Conference play. The team is set for a rematch against the No. 4 Pacific Tigers on Friday at 10:00 PM ET/7:00 PM PT.
