Senior Brendan McSherry tallied his fifth goal of the season to open the scoring at 24:09. In his first start of the season, senior Jack Hilger scored his first marker of the season. Junior defender Patrick Barba and senior Nico Hurtado worked a give-and-go before Barba slipped the ball into the 6-yard box for Hilger at the last second and he put it into the right upper 90.

Bowkett was responsible for Princeton's final goal, his third of the season, in the 64th minute. As the Dragons tried to the clear the ball out of the attacking third, junior Brian Costa headed the ball down to sideline. Freshman Sean McSherry got to it and took his time before lofting the ball into the center of the field where Bowkett shot past his defender and goalkeeper Jacob Jordan.
