Why Princeton?
Princeton vigorously pursues the goals of Education Through Athletics and Competitive Excellence.
Princeton University is a community of learning enriched by the wide range of experiences and perspectives of our students, faculty and staff. Undergraduate students benefit from the extraordinary resources of a world-class research institution dedicated to undergraduate teaching.
Princeton Athletics is steadfast in its support of student-athletes and coaches, creating a winning culture with the values to Be A TIGER, amazing facilities, and a comprehensive, holistic approach to high performance in academics, athletics, and life.
There is much to celebrate in Princeton student-athletes’ collective accomplishments in the classroom, on the playing fields and in the community. In 2017, the Tigers won 11 Ivy League championships — placing Princeton at the top of the Ivy League (field hockey, men's cross country, women's soccer, women's volleyball, women's basketball, men's indoor track & field, women's golf, women's tennis, women's lacrosse, men's outdoor track & field, women's open rowing). This represents the 25th time that Princeton has won 10 or more Ivy championships in a single year.
Princeton’s student-athletes reflect on their Princeton experiences as having prepared them to Achieve, Serve, and Lead.
