I Mua: Princeton Football Moves Forward, Just As Jack Guthrie Does
October 24, 2016 | Football
Saturday was a hard loss. Big rivalry, big comeback, overtime dramatics, spectacular game — it all adds to the pain when the outcome doesn't go your way.
If you think Princeton won't recover from this one, then you don't know Jack Guthrie. And you don't know I Mua.
Jack Guthrie is the son of former Tiger great Kevin Guthrie '84, a man who still ranks at or near the top of most receiving records in the Princeton record book, and Sari Chang Guthrie '84, the first ever Indoor Women's Heptagonal individual champion for the Tigers. He is the youngest of three siblings; his older brother Jeffers is a current freshman on the men's lacrosse team, while his sister Claire accompanied Jack to his big moment for the pregame coin toss prior to Princeton's 31-7 victory over Brown.
Why was Jack there? Why did it mean to much to the Tigers to follow him once again?
I Mua.
