Bella Alarie Scores Two Ivy Weekly Honors

PRINCETON, N.J. - Bella Alarie was picked as the Ivy League Co-Player of the Week along with Rookie of the Week for her performance vs. Seton Hall last Wednesday. It's her first time being honored as the Player of the Week and third straight week she's been picked as the top Rookie.
The freshman posted her second career double-double with a season-high 26 points and 15 rebounds in Princeton's 94-67 victory over the Seton Hall Pirates on Nov. 30. It was the Tigers' third straight victory after beginning the season 0-4.
Alarie's 26 points are tied for the 5th most in a single-game by a freshman in program history as were her 15 boards. Her five treys in the game matched the third most by freshman in a single game. She also added a personal-high six assists in the win vs. Seton Hall.

The last Princeton player to score at least 26 points, grab at least 14 rebounds and dish out six assists was Ellen Devoe on Nov. 25, 1983 vs. Lehigh.
Alarie is averaging a double-double during the Tigers' three-game winning streak, averaging 16.7 points, 10.3 rebounds 3.0 assists per game. She leads leads the team in scoring (14.4), rebounding (8.8), three-point field goal percentage (.441) and blocks (1.1).
Lafayette heads to Princeton for a non-conference matchup at Jadwin Gym on Wednesday (Dec. 7). Tip-off is scheduled for 6 p.m. The game will be featured on the Ivy League Digital Network.
