Men's Hoops in Italy, Day 2: Practice and a Visit to the Vatican

The first day waking up in Italy - or at least in an Italian hotel after Sunday's overnight arrival - for the Princeton men's basketball team saw the Tigers take in Vatican City, hold their first practice and explore the city center in Rome.

Princeton's contingent toured the great works of art in the Vatican Museums, the Sistine Chapel and St. Peter's Basilica before returning to the hotel from St. Peter's Square for a few hours of rest or checking out the area around the team's Rome hotel on foot. The players and staff had another chance to do that in the evening, following Monday's first practice of the trip at a local sporting club.

The practice itself saw the 15 Tiger players on the trip run through drills and get up plenty of shots before returning to their rooms ahead of dinner.

Tuesday will bring a morning visit to the Colosseum and the Roman Forum before heading to Florence for the team's next stop.
