McCarthy Named To Victory Sports Tours/NFHCA Division I Senior Game

CHANDLER, Ariz. – Ryan McCarthy has been selected to Victory Sports Tours/NFHCA Division I Senior Game Roster, the organization announced today.

The Senior Game contest (7 p.m.) will be played following the semifinals of the NCAA Division I Field Hockey Tournament, which takes place on Nov. 17 at 2 and 4:45 p.m. at Louisville. The NCAA Division I Field Hockey Championship will be held on Nov. 19 at 2 p.m.

The senior captain has been one of the best players in the country over her last two seasons, recording 26 goals and seven assists for 57 points in 34 games. In her first two seasons, McCarthy had 12 goals, six assists and 30 points in 37 games. She has won two Ivy League Player of the Week awards and was honored with All-Region and first team All-Ivy accolades last year.

A first-place Ivy League showdown between Harvard and Princeton, both 4-0 in the conference, will take place on Saturday in Cambridge, Mass. The game is scheduled for 12 p.m. and will be featured on the Ivy League Network.
