PRINCETON, N.J. - For her performance against the Cornell Big Red, Ryan McCarthy was selected as the Ivy League Player of the Week for the third time this season.
McCarthy saved her best performance for her final home game as she recorded her first career hat trick in a 5-1 victory. She now has a team-leading 15 goals this season and jumped into the program's top-10 in career points (95), combined goals and assists (59) and goals (41).
With the victory, Princeton clinched a share of the Ivy League championship, its 25th all-time, and the Ivy's automatic bid to the NCAA Tournament. It will be the 22nd time that the Tigers have made the Big Dance.

Prior to the game, the Tigers honored the Class of 2018. The group has won 41 games in four years and has an impressive 24-3 mark in the Ivy League with three conference titles. The last time that Princeton did not play in at least the NCAA Play-In game was when the Class of 2018 was in third grade (2004).
Princeton will look to clinch the outright Ivy League title on the road at Penn. Princeton has won 12 straight and 22 of the last 23 against the Quakers. The game will take place on Saturday (Nov. 4) and start at 12 p.m.
