McCarthy Earns Second Ivy Player of the Week Accolade

PRINCETON, N.J. – Ryan McCarthy was honored as the Ivy League Player of the Week for the second time this season, the conference announced today.

McCarthy registered two tallies as the Tigers dropped a 5-3 decision to No. 1 UConn on Sunday. Over the two games over the weekend, McCarthy took 14 shots, nine of which were on goal.

The senior captain has been incredible over her last two seasons, recording 24 goals and seven assists for 55 points in 32 games. In her first two seasons, McCarthy had 12 goals, six assists and 30 points in 37 games.

Princeton will head on the road next with a trip to Brown on Saturday (12 p.m.) before an excursion to Northeastern on Sunday (1 p.m.).
