March 18, 2018 | Men's Lacrosse
Chris Brown and Andrew Song have been named to the list of the top 25 freshmen in Division I by Inside Lacrosse. Brown, who has started every game on attack, was ranked seventh on the list, while Song, the Tigers' top longstick midfielder, was 14th.
Princeton is one of four schools with two players on the list, along with Virginia, Syracuse and Villanova.
Brown is second on the team with 11 assists and tied for second on the team with 18 points. He also has at least one goal in all six Princeton games and is the only player on the team who has done so.
As for Song, he leads Princeton with nine caused turnovers, which equals the next two highest totals on the team combined. He is also tied for the team lead in ground balls with 22. He has been tremendous on the face-off wings, and his goal against Virginia came off his own ground ball after a face-off win.
