Men's Basketball Postgame Notes • Dec. 31, 2016 vs. Cal Poly
• This was the first meeting between Princeton and Cal Poly and Princeton’s second game against a Big West opponent this season. The Tigers beat Hawai’i on Dec. 7 in the Pearl Harbor Invitational.
• It was the first time a Big West team played in Jadwin Gym.
• The win gives Princeton its first three-game winning streak of the season.
• Princeton’s .546 shooting clip from the field was its best of the season and best since shooting .633 on Feb. 26, 2016 against Columbia.
• Princeton’s .565 (13-23) 3FG percentage was also its best since that game against Columbia, when it shot .619 (13-21).
• Princeton’s 23 assists were its most against a Division I opponent since netting 25 against Lafayette on Nov. 25, 2015.
• Princeton’s +21 rebounding edge was its best against a Division I opponent since outrebounding Lipscomb by 26 on Dec. 12, 2015.
• Senior Spencer Weisz’s nine points put him in a tie for 25th place on the Princeton career scoring list with Armond Hill ’85 at 1,057 points.
• Weisz’s seven assists moved him into the top five in Princeton history, now with 314 in his career. The stat has been kept since the 1974-75 season.
• The win was Mitch Henderson’s 103rd as Princeton’s coach, tying him for fourth-most in program history with Butch van Breda Kolff ’45.
• Senior Steven Cook’s six 3-pointers moved him into 14th place on Princeton’s career list, now with 131. Weisz remained fifth at 178.
• Weisz’s four 3-point tried moved him into fifth place on Princeton’s career list, now with 455. Cook moved into 16th place at 323.
• Freshman Richmond Aririguzoh tied his Tiger best with four points and recorded his first career block.
• Cook’s six 3-pointers tied a career best set last season at Dartmouth.
• Senior Pete Miller’s seven rebounds tied a season best.
• Junior Aaron Young grabbed a career-high five rebounds.
