Princeton advanced to its 25th NCAA Tournament after winning the inaugural Ivy League Tournament, which decides the recipient of the Ivy's automatic bid. Princeton had already won the outright Ivy League title by going 14-0 in league play.
Sophomore Myles Stephens won the tournament's Most Outstanding Player honors after matching (21) and then resetting (23) his career scoring best against Penn and Yale. Stephens went 17 of 32 (.571) from the field anf 4 of 8 (.500) from the field for the weekend, averaging nine rebounds per game.
Sophomore Devin Cannady went 14 of 14 from the line during the tournament.
Freshman Will Gladson's 19 minutes against Yale were his most since logging 22 minutes at Penn on Feb. 7.
Princeton's 19 game winning streak ties the second-longest run in program history. The only times Princeton has won 19 or more games, aside from the current streak, are from Jan. 10-Mar. 10, 1925, when the Tigers won 19 in a row, and Dec. 19, 1997-Mar. 12, 1998, when Princeton won a program-record 20 straight.
Princeton's 23 wins are its most since the 2010-11 season, when the Tigers won 25 games. It's tied for the sixth-most wins in program history, alongside the 1965 Final Four team (23-6) and behind the 1997-98 team (27), 1966-67 team (25), 2010-11 team (25), 1990-91 team (24-3) and 1996-97 team (24-4).
Princeton made 11 3-pointers against Yale, the 18th time in 29 games this season Princeton has made at least 10 3s.
