New-Look Men's Squash Team Tops Cornell 9-0

Ithaca, N.Y. - Peter Yik won in three games at No. 1 and Princeton's four freshmen had winning collegiate debuts as the Tigers defeated Cornell 9-0 in the season-opener.
Yik, the defending national individual champion, won his match at No. 1 over Rajat Khanna, but the story of the day was the Class of 2003. Freshmen David Yik at No. 2, Danny Rutherford at No. 3, Will Evans at No. 4 and Eric Pearson at No. 6 all won their matches, and Rutherford and Pearson won in three games.
Peter Kelly, last year's Ivy League Rookie of the Year, won at No. 5, while veterans Marshall Sebring, Harrison Gabel and Randolph McEvoy completed the sweep.
