Princeton Picks Up a Pair Over Dartmouth

PRINCETON, N.J. - Princeton's Peter Yik (Jr., North Vancover, B.C.) won the first of ten straight Tiger victories as they defeated Dartmouth 10-0 this afternoon at Jadwin Gym. Co-captain Amir Give'on (Sr., Herzlia, Israel) defeated Hamad Anvari in the No. 2 spot followed by fellow co-captain Alan Cantlin (Sr., Portland, Ore.) who took three of four games to top Tucker Richmond.
On the women's side, the Tigers made light work of the Big Green as they sailed to an 11-0 win this afternoon. Julia Beaver (So., Brooklyn, N.Y.) continued her dominance as she defeated Laurie Sykes 3-0 in the opening match. In the No. 2 match, Elise O'Connell (Sr., Newtown Square, Pa.) swept Jenny Johnson in three straight games.
The men are now 7-1 in the year, posting a 4-1 league mark. The women remain unbeaten at 10-0 with a 4-0 Ivy record. Both teams will face Harvard tomorrow, February 14th. The men begin at noon with the women to follow at 3:30 pm.
