Princeton Squash Newsletter December 6, 2000
Dear Alumni, Parents, and Friends,
I knew you couldn't sleep Wednesday night without knowing the Princeton-Capetown squash match result!? Rest easy - Princeton prevailed 9-0 in a long hard fought match.? Three of the matches went the full five games, and two others went four games.? I have attached a file with the individual results. The University of Capetown players couldn't have been nicer and we all really enjoyed the squash and the camaraderie.
The Capetown students are on a four week tour of the U.S., playing their way up and down the East coast, living out of a Winnebago.? I know they appreciated the hot dinner and warm bed we provided for the night!
Our Junior Varsity plays Haverford College's Varsity tomorrow, to finish up the fall season.? It 's been a great three months.? I couldn't be more pleased with our players' fitness, team spirit, and work ethic.?? We look forward to the holidays and the challenges that lie beyond!
All the best for a great holiday season!
