MEN'S BASKETBALL

Highlights
- Chris Young (So., Dallas, Texas) had 26 points, 14 rebounds, 10 assists and six blocked shots in the two games
- C.J. Chapman (Jr., Aurora, Colo.) had 28 points, shooting 7 for 14 from three-point range
- Ahmed El-Nokali (So., Pittsburgh, Pa.) played all 80 minutes of the two games
WOMEN'S BASKETBALL
Last week: lost to Harvard 47-43 (Feb. 25), defeated Dartmouth 64-51 (Feb. 26)This week: at Yale (March 3), at Brown (March 4)
Record 7-18, 4-7 Ivy
Highlights
- Princeton captured its biggest upset of the year, topping Ivy leader Dartmouth by 13 on senior night. The Tigers shot 61% from the floor in the second half and connected on half of their three-point attempts (12 of 24).
- In her final game at Jadwin Gym, tri-captain Kate Thirolf (Sr., Rockville, Md.) scored 16 points and had a team-high eight rebounds against Dartmouth. She added nine points and nine rebounds against Harvard on Friday.
- Sophomore Hillary Reser (Beaverton, Ore.) led the Tigers with 18 points, including three shots from three-point land, in the win over the Big Green. She also added seven rebounds and two assists in a season-high 37 minutes of play. Against the Crimson, Reser was the only Tiger in double figures with 11 points. She also had four rebounds and two steals.
- The Tigers will play their final weekend series against Yale (March 3) and Brown (March 4) this weekend.
MEN'S HOCKEY

Record: 10-13-3 (8-8-3 ECAC, 5-2-2 Ivy)
Highlights
- Darren Yopyk (Sr., St. Paul, Alberta) scored Princeton's only goal in a 4-1 loss against Harvard...he broke his leg later in the game and will be out for the remainder of the season
- Benoit Morin (Sr., Montreal, Que.) scored a pair of insurance goals to lead Princeton to a 4-1 victory over Brown on Senior Night at Baker Rink
- Kirk Lamb (Jr., Cold Lake, Alb.) was named to the ECAC Honor Roll after scoring two goals and adding an assist in the 4-1 win over Brown
- With one weekend remaining in the regular season, Princeton is still alive for home ice in the ECAC postseason and a second straight Ivy League title...the Tigers are in a four-way tie for third place in the conference and are one point behind Harvard for the Ivy title
WOMEN'S HOCKEY
Last week: Defeated Providence 2-1 (Feb. 26), Lost to Northeastern 4-0 (Feb. 27)
This week: Hosts Harvard (Mar. 3) and Brown (Mar. 4)
Record: 11-11-5 (9-10-3 ECAC, 4-4-0 Ivy)
Highlights
- Andrea Kilbourne (So., Saranac Lake, N.Y.) scored the game-winning goal on the power play against Providence.
- Nikola Holmes (Fr., Apple Valley, Minn.) had a goal against Providence.
- The Tigers need two points this coming weekend to earn a spot in the ECAC playoffs for the eighth straight year.
SOFTBALL

MEN'S FENCING
Last week: defeated 16-11 Harvard, defeated Yale 17-10 (Feb. 26)This week: no competition
Record: 12-3, 4-0 Ivy
Highlights
- With a sweep of Harvard and Yale, the men's team captured its third Ivy League title in four years and its 11th overall. The Tigers finished the league season undefeated with a 4-0 record.
- Princeton edged Yale 5-4 in the ?p?e weapon, led by captain Jason Burrell (Sr., Bethesda, Md.) with three victories.
- Freshman James Wallen (Fontana, Calif.) went 3-0 against Harvard to help the sabre squad to a 6-3 win. He finished the day with a 5-1 record.
WOMEN'S FENCING
Last week: defeated Harvard 19-8, defeated Yale 16-11 (Feb. 26)This week: no competition
Record: 15-2, 5-0 Ivy
Highlights
- With a sweep of Harvard and Yale, the women's team captured its second Ivy League title in as many years and its first outright. The Tigers finished the league season undefeated and set a University record with 15 wins this season.
- Princeton topped Harvard 6-3 and Yale 7-2 in the ?p?e weapon, led by Maya Lawrance (So., Teaneck, N.J.), who posted a 6-0 record. Lawrence also finished third in the Junior Olympics national championship on Feb. 17.
- Mindy Rostal (Fr., Maplewood, Minn.) went 6-0 on the day to lead the foil squad to a 6-3 win over Harvard and 7-2 victory over Yale.
WOMEN'S WATER POLO
Last week: hosted the Princeton InvitationalThis week: no competition
Record: 5-0, 0-0 CWPA
Highlights
- Princeton recorded four victories this weekend in the Princeton Invitational. The Tigers defeated Indiana 8-4 on Friday, defeated Queens 13-6 and Brown 13-7 on Saturday, and upset No. 8 UMass 5-4 on Sunday afternoon.
- Cassie Nichols (So., Santa Barbara, Calif.) scored the game-winning goal with 28 second to play to defeat the Minutewomen 5-4 in the tournament finale. Nichols tallied seven goals on the weekend.
- Freshman Adele McCarthy (Haydenville, Mass.) scored 12 goals in four games this weekend, including five against Queens.
- The Tigers will begin CWPA League play on March 11, at Villanova.
MEN'S INDOOR TRACK AND FIELD

Highlights
- Princeton won six individual titles this weekend, all three of Princeton's captains claimed titles.
- Jonathan Jessup (Jr., Bryan, Texas) won the pole vault with a height of 16' 4.75"
- Scott Denbo (Jr., Nashville, Tenn.) won the shot put with a mark of 59' 3.5", an NCAA provisional qualifying mark.
- Paul Morrison (So., Chatham, Ont.) won the 3000 meters and the mile run. He won the mile in an NCAA provisional qualifying time of 4:05.69.
- John Mack (Sr., New Haven, Mich.) won the 400 meters with a time of 47.87.
- Mike Spence (Sr., East Stroudsburg, Pa.) won the 5000 meters in 14:24.76.

- Co-captain Shawneequa Callier (New York, N.Y.) was second in the high jump by clearing 5' 11.25"
- Natalie Deffenbaugh (So., Maplewood, N.J.) was the fifth place finisher in the 800 meters with a time of 2:13.35
- Jen Cannistra (Jr., Sparta N.J.)finished in third place in the 5000 meters with a time of 17:32.20.

- Princeton diving coach Greg Gunn was the recipient of the Diving Coach Peer Recognition Award.
- Princeton ended the weekend with five individual champions and a relay championship.
- Princeton swept the diving championships. Katherine Mattison (So., Darien, Conn.) won the one-meter dive with a total of 403.50 and Erin Lutz (Jr., Hopewell, N.J.) won the three-meter dive with a total of 530.25, a new pool record. Mattison won the Meet High Point Diver Award
- Jenny Macaulay (So., Otobicoke, Ont.) won the 200 breast with a time of 2:17.11.
- Kate Conroy (So., Haddonfield, N.J.) won the 100 Back with a time of 56.66.

- Steve Cooper (Jr., Webster, N.Y.) had at least 15 kills in each of the three matches last week
- Dennis Alshuler (Fr., Newport Beach, Calif.) had a match-high 27 kills against Concordia
- Jason Morrow (Sr., Los Angeles, Calif.) had 59 assists in the sweep of Springfield
WOMEN'S TENNIS

Highlights
- Princeton won the final four singles matches to clinch the win over Old Dominion.
- Priya Bhupathi (So., Staten Island, N.Y.) was one of the singles winners, winning at the No. 4 position.
- Kristi Watson (So., Shawnee Mission, Kans.) won at the No. 5 spot and is now 13-1 on the season.
MEN'S TENNIS
Last week: Defeated Rutgers 7-0 (Feb. 22), Defeated North Carolina State 6-1 (Feb. 26)This week: hosts Radford (Mar. 4)

- Kyle Kliegerman (Jr., New York, N.Y.) was 2-0 on the week. He defeated N.C. State's Eric Jackson in a tough three-set match on Saturday.
- Ahn Ahn Liu (Sr., Bellevue, Wash.) was also undefeated on the weekend at 2-0.
- Judson Williams (So., Raleigh, N.C.) defeated his two opponents for a four-match winning streak and has won six of his last seven matches.
