The Tigers outscored Harvard 8-1 in the second half for a 15-6 victory at its new turf facility. Julie Shaner (Jr., Gwynedd Valley, Pa,) and Kim Smith (So., Baltimore, Md.) each scored four goals.
Hilary Maddox (Sr., Chestnut Hill, Mass.), who had only 13 points in each of her first three seasons, has 14 goals and two assists on the year. She has scored two goals in each of the last three games.
Lauren Simone (So., Delran, N.J.) scored four goals and added two assists in the win at No. 18 Temple.
WOMEN'S OPEN CREW

Highlights
Princeton won its 11th consecutive 1975 Cup with a first-place finish in Saturday's competition on Lake Carnegie. The Tigers won the varsity eight race in a time of 6:40.30, followed by Radcliffe in second and Cornell in third. Miami finished in fourth.
The Tigers finished first in the second varsity race, nearly 12 seconds ahead of Cornell. The Big Red won the varsity four and second novice eight races.
WOMEN'S LIGHTWEIGHT CREW

Highlights
The two top women's lightweight programs squared off Saturday on Lake Carnegie, as both teams entered the race tied for No. 1 in the latest USRowing rankings. Wisconsin will likely claim sole possession of the top spot with a two-second win in the varsity eight event, with the Tigers taking second in their home opener.
In the varsity eight race, the Tigers made a late surge to pass the Wildcats in the final strokes of the race for a second place finish in a time of 7:03.78, two seconds behind Wisconsin.
The Tigers finished second to the Badgers in the varsity four race by a mere .05 of a second and by six seconds in the novice eight race.
MEN'S HEAVYWEIGHT CREW

Highlights
A late surge gave the Princeton heavyweight crew a less-than-one-second victory over Penn and Columbia, as it won its sixth consecutive Childs Cup this afternoon on Lake Carnegie. The Tigers crossed the finish line in 5:44.80, as Penn came in second followed by Columbia in third. Temple finished in fourth with a time of 5:58.87.
Princeton claimed the Childs Cup, America's oldest continuously contested intercollegiate trophy in any sport. Temple was a guest in the regatta.
The Orange and Black had no trouble in the other three races on the day, winning each by at least seven seconds.
MEN'S LIGHTWEIGHT CREW

Highlights
After the men's lightweight crew had its first race of the year postponed due to unrowable conditions last Saturday, the Tigers ran into more tough luck as they came in second in the varsity eight race against Cornell and Rutgers on Lake Carnegie. The Scarlet Knights crossed the finish line first in a time of 5:55.10, followed by Princeton at 6:01.26.
The Tigers took first place in the second and third varsity eight races and the first freshman eight. Cornell's lone victory came on a four-second win in the second freshman eight event.

Ahn Ahn Liu (Sr., Bellevue, Wash.) was undefeated at No. 2.
