PRINCETON, N.J. - Freshman Alex Brown (Los Altos, Calif.) had eight kills, five service aces and 15 digs to help the Princeton women's volleyball team to a 3-0 win over Cornell on Saturday afternoon at Newman Arena. The Big Red handed the Tigers a 3-2 loss earlier in the season.
Junior Abby Studer (Signal Mountain, Tenn.) had 11 kills and a team-high 4.5 blocks. Sophomore Kellie Cramm (Laguna Beach, Calif.) had 10 kills and nine digs for the Tigers while senior captain Ana Yoerg (Bloomfield, Mich.) had 44 assists in the win.
Princeton is now 12-7 and 6-3 against Ivy League opponents after winning its last six matches. The Tigers will return to action next weekend when they host Harvard on Friday, Nov. 9 at 7 p.m. and Dartmouth on Saturday, Nov. 10 at 4 p.m.
