Water Polo Opens League Weekend With Two Victories

Grove City, Pa. - Freshman Gant Morgner made nine saves in the opening win of the CWPA league weekend as the Tigers defeated Gannon 18-6. In the second match, Morgner played in the field for a half and tallied three goals in the 18-2 victory over Grove City. The Tigers will face Bucknell on Saturday, October 19 at 10:30 a.m.
Kevin Foster led Princeton with four goals in the win over Gannn. Dan Holligan and John Stover each tallied three. Sam Bliss and Jamal Motlagh each had two goals in the win.
Morgner played the first half of the second game in net for the Tigers and recorded four saves. Holligan tallied three goals and Forster and Bliss each had two.
The Tigers are now 12-5 on the season.
