Volleyball Rebounds Against Yale, 3-1

New Haven, Conn. - Lauren Grumet tallied 15 kills as the Tigers defeated the Bulldogs of Yale, 3-1 in Ivy League volleyball action. Princeton improves to 9-3 on the season and remains in the hunt for the League title with a record of 3-2 against Ivy opponents. Yale slips to 7-8 and 1-4 in the League.
The Tigers took the first two games 30-23 and 30-21. Yale rallied in the third game to win 30-26 but the Tigers took the fourth game 30-24 for the match. Kellie Cramm recorded 14 kills in the match; Michelle Buffum tallied 13. Abbey Studer recorded nine kills and a team-high 8 blocks. Jenny Senske led Princeton with 54 assists. Marissa Becker and Cramm each recorded eight digs in the win.
For the Elis, Jana Freeman had 14 kills; Renee Lopes and Kelly McAlearney each tallied 13.
The Tigers return to action on Friday, October 25 when they host Dartmouth at Dillon Gymnasium at 7:00 p.m. Princeton will host Harvard at 4:00 the following Saturday.
