Women's Volleyball Rallies to Defeat Harvard, 3-2

Cambridge, Mass. - Freshman Lauren Grumet tallied 23 kills as the Tigers rallied to defeat the Crimson of Harvard 3-2 (16-30, 30-21, 29-31, 30-23, 15-11) in Ivy League women's volleyball action. With the win the Tigers improve to 14-5, 7-3 IVY and remain in great standing to contend for the League championship The loss drops the Crimson, which was sitting in first place in the League standings going into tonight's game, to 13-9, 9-2 IVY.
Several players turned in huge games for Princeton. Grumet posted 23 kills and 21 digs. Abby Studer added 21 kills and Kellie Cramm added 18 kills and 15 digs in the win. Jenny Senske notched a match-high 70 assists and 11 digs in the win, while Michelle Buffum tallied 11 kills. Kerry Song rounded out the Tigers' solid defense by posting 21 digs.
Kaego Ogbechie had a match-high 27 kills and 18 digs for Harvard. Allison Bendush followed that with 17 kills and 15 digs.
Princeton will travel to Dartmouth on Saturday, November 9 for a 4:00 p.m. against the Big Green. The Tigers then return home for matches against Yale, Brown and Penn to round out the regular season. Princeton hosts Penn on November 20 at 7:00 p.m. in Dillon Gym.4 p.m.
