WBUD New Flagship Radio Outlet For Princeton Athletics

The Princeton University Department of Athletics has entered into agreement with WBUD AM 1260 to have it become the flagship radio outlet for Tiger athletics.
"Everybody here is looking forward to it," says WBUD's Ken Wright. "We're excited and thrilled to start a new partnership with Princeton University's athletic department."
WBUD will be home to all of Princeton's football and men's lacrosse games and the primary outlet for men's basketball.
Ed Benkin will be the play-by-play voice for Tiger football and men's lacrosse, while Tom McCarthy will do the play-by-play for men's basketball. Jerry Price will serve as color commentator for all three sports.

The first Princeton broadcast on WBUD will be Sept. 21, when the football team opens its season at Lehigh in a 1:00 kickoff.
WBUD is a member of Millennium Radio, whose network includes New Jersey 101.5 FM. WBUD, with a news and "great gold" format, has been on the air for the past 55 years.
