Smith Leads Tigers to Third Place Finish at Paul Short Invitational

Bethlehem, Pa. - Sophomore Austin Smith took sixth place at the annual Paul Short Invitational cross country meet, held at Lehigh University, to lead the Tigers to a third place finish. Smith crossed the finish line at 24:50.77. William and Mary captured first place with 49 points, Columbia finished in second with 83 and the Tigers took third with 90 points.
Princeton placed three runners in the top-20. Joining Smith was Mike Baird who finished in 11th place and James Flannery who took 17th place. Frank Macreery and Jon Kieliszak placed for Princeton.
Competing in the Open race, Tristan Colangelo took first place, crossing the finish line at 25:22.52.
