PROVIDENCE - Another strong performance by freshman Robert Hong helped push the Princeton men's squash team to a 7-2 victory Saturday at Brown. It was the Tigers' second win of the week and first in league play.
Following a season-opening loss to Cornell, Princeton rebounded to defeat Franklin & Marshall Wednesday and then Brown on Saturday. For the second straight match, Hong filled in for Yasser El Halaby at the No. 1 spot and earned a win. Michael Gilman also won at No. 2, and although Vincent Yu lost at No. 3, simply seeing Yu in the lineup was a welcome sight to the Tigers. Yu was one of numerous veterans who was unable to start the season for Princeton, but he has been cleared to play and is expected to be a key force in the lineup when Princeton returns from the holiday break.
