CAMBRIDGE, Mass. - Two relay wins and a 1-2-3 finish in the breaststroke gave the Princeton women's swimming and diving team a slight lead over Harvard after two days of the Ivy League Championships. Stephanie Hsiao and Kelly Hannigan were individual winners for Princeton.
Princeton opened Friday night with a win in the 200 medley relay, finishing in 1:42.78, and ended the night with a win in the 800 free relay, finishing in 7:26.78.
Hannigan won the 400 IM in 4:19.10, but it was the 100 breaststroke that gave Princeton a load of momentum heading into Saturday. Lauren Rossi's time of 1:04.96 was better than any other team in the league, but it was only good enough for third in this race. Hsiao won the race in 1:02.65, while Sarah Schaffer finished second in 1:04.71.
