The Princeton men's squash team fell to Trinity 8-1 Saturday to be eliminated in the Potter Cup competition, which crowns the College Squash Association national team champion. Sophomore Yasser El Halaby provided Princeton's lone win in a battle of the last two individual national champions.
El Halaby defeated Samper in three tight games, winning 9-7, 10-8, and 9-7. El Halaby is undefeated this season and has yet to lose a game, including wins over the top players in the nation.
Michael Gilman, Nate Beck and Rob Siverd each won a game against the top-ranked Trinity squad. Princeton will look for third place tomorrow when it faces Ivy rival Yale.
