14 Players Score in Men's Water Polo 18-7 Win Over Queens

Princeton, N.J. - Fourteen Tigers scored goals as the 15th-ranked Princeton men's water polo team defeated Queens 18-7 on Thursday night at DeNunzio Pool. Six members of the Princeton Class of 2006 scored goals in the final home game of their careers, and another earned the win in goal with eight saves.
Princeton scored the games first goal, but Queens evened the score at 1-1 before Princeton distanced itself by taking a 5-1 lead. Queens got back within a goal in the second period at 5-4, but the Tigers distanced themselves later in the period for the runaway win.
Senior John Stover scored three goals in the win and now stands four goals away from surpassing Kevin Foster as the all-time leading scorer in Princeton men's water polo history. Seniors Sam Bliss, T.J. Edwards, Jacob Harter, Mike McKenna and Dean Riskas all added goals in the win. Senior goalkeeper Gant Morgner stopped eight shots in three quarters to earn the win. Scott Syverson made a save in one quarter of action.
Princeton improved to 16-8 on the year with the win and is off for the next eight days leading up the Southern Championships.
