Men's Water Polo Falls to Navy in Southern Championship Game

Annapolis, Md. - John Stover scored four goals for the second-straight game, but 13th-ranked Navy jumped to an early lead and held on throughout as the Midshipmen posted a 10-8 win over the 15th-ranked Princeton men's water polo team on Sunday afternoon in the Southern Championship title game at Navy.
The Tigers will continue their season, however as both Princeton and Navy will likely see one another at the Eastern Championships in two weekends at Harvard. Princeton fell to 19-9 with the loss.
Stover led the Tigers with four goals in the game and other goals came from Chris Kelsch, Mike McKenna, Eric Vreeland and Reid Joseph. Seniot goalkeeper Gant Morgner made 15 saves in the loss.
