Tigers Place Fifth at Iona Meet of Champions

BRONX, N.Y. - Princeton's Caroline Mullen finished in 23rd place overall in a time of 22:48 to help the women's cross country team to a fifth-place finish out of 23 teams at the 11th Annual Paddy Doyle Meet of Champions held at Van Cortlandt Park Saturday.
The Tigers had five runners finish in the top 55 and finished with 181 points.
Rachel Farnsworth, a junior, was 35th for Princeton in 23:04, while sophomore Katie Kose was just one second behind that in 37th. Ali Warren placed 43rd in 23:09, while Jen Johnson was 55th in 23:24.
Cornell won the meet with 67 points, placing all seven of its runners between 11th and 19th place. Host Iona was second, followed by Dartmouth, La Salle and then the Tigers.
