Liz Costello is putting the finishing touches on one of the
great careers in Princeton women's track and field history.
Costello is a three-time Ivy League Heptagonal cross country champion, one of only two women in league history who have won three times. She finished 18th this year at the NCAA championships, helping Princeton to a fifth-place team finish out of the 343 Division I cross country teams.
Costello finished 11th at the NCAA cross country meet her junior year, when Princeton also finished fifth in the team competition.
She has also won four Heps championships in track (two indoor and two outdoor), with her senior track seasons still to be completed. She was an indoor track All-America her junior year.
